BRADLEY, William (1757 - 1833).

Engraved map, 230 x 210.5 mm., uncoloured, left and right margins trimmed to border, top and bottom margins 30mm., professionally repaired tear (20mm) right top margin, no marks or foxing. Framed and glazed behind perspex. Lieutenant William Bradley sailed to Australia with the First Fleet in "Sirius" with John Hunter in 1788. He was aboard "Sirius" when it was wrecked on Norfolk Island in 1790. He spent the next eleven months marooned on the island, during which time he completed this first survey of Norfolk Island, eventually published in 1792-3 in Hunter's account of the fledgling colony. $295.00AUD
